50768 Ianwessen (provisional designation: 2000 FW2) is a main-belt minor planet. It was discovered by Gary Hug at the Farpoint Observatory near Auburn, Kansas, on March 27, 2000. It is named after Ian Remington Wessen (born September 19, 1992), who in high school worked part-time for the Europa Jupiter System Mission. He is now currently studying physics at University of California, Santa Barbara.
